With over 35 years on the road, the band Raimundos had in Canisso one of its founders. The group's biggest hits were "Mulher de Fases", "A Mais Pedida" and "Eu Quero Ver o Oco". Singer Rodolfo Abrantes, who was in the band until 2011, was the lead singer of the band in its first phase, and was succeeded by the band's guitarist, Digão.

Born in Brasília, Canisso began his career as a roadie, still in the city, in the 1980s. He met Digão and Rodolfo in a music festival promoted in the school where he studied. The teenagers were Ramones fans and started to play the band's songs together in bars in the federal capital.
